DRIFT DIVER
Diving into a current can be both relaxing and exhilarating. You can glide slowly over a reef or zoom across an underwater landscape so fast you seem to fly. At the end of the current diving course, you will have the skills necessary to follow the flow with confidence.
Diving into a current can feel like flying underwater. On the PADI Drift Diver course, you’ll learn drift diving tips from an experienced instructor.
BY PRACTICING YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT:
– equipment used in a current diving – buoys, lines and spool;
– buoyancy control, navigation and communication for diving in currents;
– selection of locations and overview of water currents – causes and effects;
– techniques for remaining close/near to a partner or group.

Who can do it?
You must have Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification and have at least 12 years old.
